During these 2 intense days of competition, 5 new French culinary talents will give their best to provide the jury, composed of renown chefs, with plates and dishes as original, creative and unique as possible.

 

Among those 5 selected candidates, only 1 will have the chance and honor to defend the French colors during the next round of the Bocuse d’Or selection process: Bocuse d’Or Europe (Mai 2014 in Stockholm) and, if selected, the big final in January 2015 in Lyon. An incredible opportunity for them to take a bigger step in their young culinary carrier!

 

By getting on top of the highest step of the podium last January during the Bocuse d’Or Finale, Thibaut Ruggeri set the level very high for the candidates to come, which is, in a positive point of view, a good way to motivate them.

 

The challenge is tough for the new president of the Bocuse d’Or French selection, Régis Marcon, willing to give another impulse to the contest, by considering “waste” and “product respect” as important criteria in the notation.
